Things I will miss :
- the way Avenue des Gobelins lines up with the Panthéon on the walk to my favorite caviste
- armagnac after dinner
- that cute guy in the shoe department at the Bon Marché
- how Parisians, unlike New Yorkers, would never tell you much they love their city — instead they are always complaining about the grime and the métro and the tourists and, of course, other Parisians — but you can see in their faces that they could never even consider living anywhere else
